8-8-10 Amazing stay, really comfortable, no wierd or crazy neighbors,
walking distance to EVERYTHING. Johnny was great, really really cool
guy. Definitely recomment to friends. 100% satisfied. Very spacious. No
haunted rooms, which I'm grateful for :)
Most definitely made our stay in Seattle amazing.

The BEST place I ever stayed in! I don't ever want to stay in a Hotel
again. This place set the standards very high. I would love to come again
soon. I'll recommend to everyone. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

We had a great time. The apartment was wonderful. Comfortable beds,
stocked kitchen, 3 TVs, and 2 bathrooms. Everything was clean and the
music was nice. We used the bus a lot. We did have a last minute car so
thanks Johnny for the last minute parking pass! Everyone we met was
friendly and if we come back to Seatle we wold definitely come to stay
here again.
Thanks for a great experience here!

Had a blast-fabulous location, lovely accommodations, and remarkable
Seattle weather!
Thanks so much for the hospitality, we'll absolutely stay here again.
P.S. Quinn's had great food, Rosebud great nightcaps, & Pike Street
great entertainment (the people watching was superb!)

Made our stay very enjoyable-hate to leave!

What a comfy place! A real home away from home. My parents and I
came up from Lake Charles, Louisiana to see my sister's graduation and
wedding. But seriously, this place has a wonderful view, triple thick
windowpanes, and really soft pillows. It's well furnished, and at a great
location. (For all you out-of-town folks with cars, there's a Shell station
right up on Broadway-it's incredibly difficult to find a fill-station around
here.) Another thing to check out are the parks. Cal-Anderson's in
walking distance. Ask Johnny about the cool resale shops. Even better,
ask Johnny about going to swim-it's great, you'll have a blast. The
weather was nice and cool, the people here are really friendly! People
watching here was a blast. Anyways, we loved it! We're staying here if
we/when we pass this way again.

Great place to stay-well furnished and comfortable-close to downtown
and convenient for travel in all directions. Wonderful weather-even an
bit warm. Seattle has so much to see and do -great restaurants. We
loved our day trips to La Conner, B.C. and Bainbridge. The Pike
neighborhood was great-wonderful diversity.

P.S. Special shout-out to Johnny-thanks for taking such good care of us.

7/10 - 7/23/09
Had a great time people watching around the neighborhood. Great
restaurants: Seattle Art Museum-Taste; The Pink Door-Patio;
Elliott's-nice views; Café Champagne, Steelhead. Went to Snoqualmie
Falls, Mt. Rainier, Ballard (Chittenden) Locks, Red Hook Brewery,
Discovery Park. For Sunday Brunch try Crave on 12th Ave and Pine.

Wow! What a blast we had at the St. John. We were in town for my
sister's wedding here on Capitol Hill and the apartment was perfect for
our two boys.
Johnny was so helpful and we enjoyed having out with him at the
Rosebud on our first night here!
We will come back the next time we're in town!
Thanks so much!

What can we say? We love this place, both Seattle and St. John's. We
first found it on VRBO.com. Feels like we've come home when we arrive.
Unit 309's appointments, furnishings, and the friendly management team
provide the creature comforts that we long for but seldom find at, or
with, any other lodging. We've been on the road for a week so far and
have finally had a good night's sleep.
This is the 2nd time here-last year when we visited there was no
availability and we stayed at another VRBO.com. That was a
disappointment ad we're happy to be back and look forward to our next
visit to our 2nd home at St. John's.
Favorite Stops: Nordstrom's, downtown. Pike Market. St. Mark's
Cathedral (Episcopal Church with a great gift shop). La Rustica,
restaurant in West Seattle. All restaurants downstairs.
Teri and Steve Allstaedt, Ashville N.C.

Thanks for a very pleasant stay. We enjoyed the City and its lively
activity. Pike's market was great and so were the restaurants. Everyone
was very helpful and kind. Our yearly girls weekend was a great success.

so much fun and everyone was overwhelmingly nice. This apartment was
so perfect for us. Thank you so much!

We were here for work from Victoria, Canada. It was a huge snow and
ice storm. The downside was not so much work got done, but the upside
was a fabulous time in a lovely apartment in a great neighborhood.
Thanks!

Hi! I came to Seattle from Cheyenne Wyoming. I had an awesome time
here in the city. Boy was it interesting. I met a lot of really nice people
here. The apartment was wonderful! I hope I can come and visit again.
Thank you to Johnny for all your help. Thanks so much!

Thank you for everything! We had such a wonderful time ringing in the
New Year, tasting cream cheese and onion hot dogs and experiencing
downtown. We would love to visit again and will definitely look you up.

A great spot in the middle of an ultra hip area with great funky vibe
made for a great trip. Bus lines nearby will run straight downtown which
is walking distance anyhow. There's an awesome park nearby up a couple
of blocks from Broadway. Beer drinkers head up Pike several blocks to
Elysian Brewing…top notch. Great people watching, nice area to stroll.
Mayor Johnny knows all, see/ask him for any tips/info.

A great place to stay! Walk one block north to Pine and catch bus #10,
11 or 49, goes West to within one block of Pikes Market-catch same bus
between 3rd and 4th or Pike to come back-take bus 10 or 11 West to 5th
and Pine to catch monorail to go to Space Needle-the Exp Music and
Sciene Fiction Museum. Catch bus 5 just North of Pine on 3rd St. to go to
Woodland Zoo.
-Trace and Conner Wilhite, Collinsville, OK

6/24/09
We loved the apartment! Recommendations: the Pike Place Market for
breakfast. La Paniera-croissants and piroskys are best! In Post Alley go
to Yarmulka for Eastern European Veggie stuffed cabbage. Pike Place
Chowder. Restaurants on Broadway: Annapurna (Indian) Byzantium
(Greek). Steer clear of Bruno's on 3rd. Anthony's on the water-good,
Chinnok on Lake Union-great. Check out the Center for Wooden Boats on
Lake Union-free boat rides on Sunday Afternoon. Take a ferry ride to Pt.
Townsend. Be sure to see Sterret House on Clay St. and Manresa Castle
Hotel. Mitsker Maps on 1st Ave. And don't miss the Olympic Sculpture
garden on the waterfront north of Pier 70.

We came for the inaugural Seattle Rock n Roll marathon and discovered
what a great city Seattle is. St. John's is in the center of everything,
restaurants, downtown, grocery store across the street, Hot Mama's
Pizza is AWESOME! This is a beautiful city and I'm sure we will come back
next year for the Seattle Marathon. Thank you!
-Rose and friends, from L.A.

We came all the way from Sweden to see Seattle and it certainly didn't
disappoint! My friends and I were so happy to have found this apartment
to rent, and that didn't disappoint either! The place is clean and
convenient, everything we needed was right here. It was like coming to
stay at a friend's house. Thoroughly enjoyable! We were pleasantly
surprised by the Honey Hole sandwiches place. Very interesting décor
and excellent hamburgers! Thanks so much for providing this place for
people to rent, it made our whole stay great!

We had a fabulous time in Seattle. We were here for the national
Veterinary conference. We loved the apartment; great location, very
clean, perfect size. Johnny was very accommodating. We would definite
stay here again, and would recommend it to anybody. This was our first
trip to the Pacific Northwest, and we're excited to come back and see
more in the future. We visited the International Rose Garden in Portland
Or. And drove out to see the Columbia River Gorge. Very scenic. Of
course we had to do the Space Needle. And Elliott's Oyster House had
some of the best salmon we've had. Great City.

This was our 3rd time staying at St. John's-we won't stay anywhere else
on our yearly visit. Can't beat hospitality, convenience, and comfort of
this place. Remember to book early if you're planning a return visit since
the book up pretty quickly-we missed out one year due to our delay9.
Walked to everything-next year I think we'll forego the car for Seattle
portion of our vacation.
Best Restaurant found this trip: Tulio's, on 5th Ave between Seneca and
Marion. We're foodies! It was great!
Teri and Steve Allstaedt, Ashville, N.C.

I suggest you go downtown to the markets, it's really great! I also
recommend a restaurant called "Boom Noodle" about 3 blocks up Pike
(thanks for the tip, Johnny!). The hotel room is great! It's nice and
clean, lots of room, etc.
