Make yourself at home in Capitol Hill in one of our furnished apartments! Right in the heart of the most dynamic neighborhood in Seattle, you'll be within walking distance of endless amenities and entertainment, not to mention the downtown business and shopping district. Stay with us for as short as 3 nights, or on a month-to-month basis. We have six apartments available for short-term rentals, including a studio, two one-bedrooms and three two-bedrooms.They each feature full amenities including a full kitchen, a full bathroom, bed and bath linens, free Wi-Fi, and Direct TV.

ABOUT OUR LOCATION:
We're within easy walking distance to downtown Seattle. Just eight blocks to the Washington Convention Center, and beyond that you are in the downtown shopping district with Nordstrom's, Macy's as well as smaller botiques. Continuing west is the Pike Place Market, a photographer's paradise. St. John's is a great location from which you can explore the city on foot. Or bus...it stops one block away.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD: CAPITOL HILL
Capitol Hill is a destination in itself. We have the best restaurants, stores, bars, theatres, live music shows- all within walking distance. The neighborhood pages will show you some of our local favorites. The map page will give you a good idea how close things are to us.

St. John's is on the corner of East Pike and Harvard Avenue. Harvard is one block from Broadway, the main North-South street on Capitol Hill. The neighborhood is teeming with activity. Directly across the street is a great supermarket, a drugstore, a dry cleaners and a UPS store. We're surrounded by restaurants: three in our building, three more on our block and many more all around us. It's not just restaurants, there are lots of boutique stores with everything from clothes to vinyl records to antiques. Plus we have Seattle's best book store (Elliot Bay Books) three blocks away, and our best music store, and a great park--the list goes on and on.

There is a parking lot is directly behind St. John's. We don't own the lot, but we do have passes that allow in and out privileges in any open spot for $12.00 per day. We do suggest that you don't need a car while you stay with us. It's very easy to walk downtown from our location, and driving in Seattle is not fun!

The photo to the right is of our third floor hall and stairs. It's good to note that there is no elevator. Built in 1905, the building has a rich history and a classic layout that feels open and light filled. We have worked hard to make St. John's feel like a home with personality, class, and style.

We have a three night minimum rental policy. Prices vary depending on apartment, season and length of stay. Our tax rate in Seattle is 9.5%.

We have a full time manager, Johnny, who lives in the building; he's our concierge and more! For our guests he is a great resource. He knows all the local places of interest and can get you going in the right direction no matter what you want to do. Christine is our short term rentals manager, and your go-to gal for making reservations. She works regular business hours in the office on the street level of Harvard Avenue, and loves having visitors, giving advice on all things Seattle, and welcoming our guests! If there's ever anything you need in your apartment, there's someone in the building to help.

St. John's is owned by Mark Chambers and Oda Egeland. It's our only building and we run it with great enjoyment and pride. We stay in all our short terms when no one is there, so we know what it takes to make them as comfortable as home. Each is different; all are good.
